Began as American Air Export & Import Company in 1946 in Miami Beach but its initial service consisted of five daily flights from New York to Atlantic City geared toward the horse racing industry, with the last flight scheduled to wait until after the last race. Renamed AAXICO in 1956 and became an all cargo air carrier. They ceased operations in 1966 and were sold to Saturn Airways.
